The course, which is free, is over seven weeks and each week is 1.5hrs. It is online using ZOOM and it starts on Thursday 29th October.
Lisa from Maggie’s Edinburgh writes:
Following research with ELPCSG and others, we know that dealing with the side effects of treatment can often be more challenging than expected. We also know that having prostate cancer can impact many areas of your life from relationships to finances and everything in between.
On the new Living Well with Prostate Cancer course you will hear from experts, meet others in a similar situation, learn about ways to manage your side effects and aim to live well with prostate cancer. Topics covered will include managing fatigue, managing urinary problems, living with the effects of prostate cancer treatment, and exploring the challenges of erectile dysfunction.
The free course is a joint initiative between Prostate Scotland and Maggie’s Edinburgh and the first course starts on the 29th of October. It is run over 7 weeks and each week is 1.5hrs. The course is running online using Zoom and it is open to men across Scotland.
To join the next course please phone Maggie’s on 0131 537 3131, or email edinburgh@maggies.org
