Each year we have a very large ‘PC Awareness Event’ outside ASDA in Livingston.
Last year we issued over 900 leaflets and spoke to many many folk and raised over £300.00 on PC UK Badges.
We are planning to do the same again this year on Friday 6 March, details below.

The serious Prostate Cancer diagnosis for Sir Chris Hoy highlighted the importance of getting ‘MEN’ tested early and even earlier if they have a family history of Prostate Cancer. More men over 50 unfortunately delay getting PSA tested and ignore symptoms and increase the chances of a positive diagnosis when it has shown that the outcomes with early diagnosis are very good. The PSA blood test helps first establish potential signs of Prostate Cancer and we encourage men to get a PSA ‘blood test’ that can be done very quickly with their Surgery Nurse and if it is positive a quick MRI Scan will determine immediate or a staggered treatment programme.

Our team will be outside ASDA Livingston all day on Friday 6 March 2026 so come along and speak to guys with the wide range of Prostate Cancer experience to answer your questions.
