It's easy to donate to the Edinburgh and Lothian Prostate Support Group. Many friends and supporters run special money-raising events to support the work of our group. We have now changed the way that donations can be made to the group, and as from January 2019, this will be through the Virgin Money's 'Giving' facility, which is very easy to use. The Virgin Money Giving website is here, and if you wish to start fundraising for our group, or make a donation, please click here.
Gift Aid Please note that if you are a UK tax-payer, charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give – this is known as Gift Aid and although it does not cost you any extra, it brings in more funds to the charity (including ELPCSG). Donating through Virgin Money Giving provides an easy way for you to make a Gift Aid declaration for the charity to claim. A Gift Aid declaration must be made for each charity you want to donate to.
Donations to the volunteer-run group are used to meet our goals of supporting men and their partners, families and carers in the Edinburgh and Lothian area to deal with a prostate cancer diagnosis. We do this with our "buddy" programme which operates by phone, email or meetings, and we run regular group meetings in Edinburgh and Livingston to which speakers are invited and men and their families can receive the support that is so important at these difficult times. We also act as a strong lobby group for awareness and treatment issues and have good media links, though our website, Facebook pages.

We have also recently added a document which lists all the donations made between April 2014 and April 2017 - please click here to download the document in pdf form.
